About three decades after Jade Mountain Academy shut down because of insufficient funds and the tragic death of Queen Glacier, the Headmaster of the Glacier University decided to open her own Academy - for IceWings, pure or non-pure alike. Named after herself, Snowshoe started to construct the massive, castle-like academy on the old border of the Ice Kingdom, planning to use her knowledge for the good of her tribe.

Now fully constructed and ready for pupils, Headmaster Snowshoe started sending out letters to all of the IceWings who might be interested in attending Snowshoe Hall, some even hybrids that she caught wind of in Possibility and Sanctuary. Although word of the academy becomes the topic of most conversations amongst newly grown adult IceWings, the subjects are hard and challenging - only fit for the best of the best to succeed - and the successors will go on to become the best of the best leaders in IceWing history.

But lurking in the darkness, there's a dragon who’ll do anything to make sure the school will not succeed. They think that another huge school after JMA’s fall is the worst idea, and they’re going to prove it.

So can you survive what Snowshoe Hall has to offer? Or will you be crushed into a pile of red-tinted snow before the end of the week?

RULES:

1: No powerplaying, please. No OPs or Mary Sues/Gary sues.

2: I can reject forms if I feel the character is too overpowered. If I ask you to change something, please do.

3: Please only join if you plan on being active :) It’s okay if you go inactive for a day or two because of school or being busy - I won’t judge or be angry.

4: Non-canon abilities are fine, but ask before giving your character non-canon powers. I may say yes or no, depending on abilities. Password is Foap.

5: There are only two animus slots open, not including my personal oc that is included. Please ask before making your oc an animus.

6: Hybrids are allowed, but only five slots for hybrids are allowed. Please ask before making your oc a hybrid. Your oc cannot be both a hybrid and an animus. It can, however, have the two tribes' abilities mashed together (ex. Frostbreath and poisonous barb), but please don't be OP about it.

7: You can have a total of three ocs in the roleplay.

8: No patalan hybrids.

9: Your OC can be royalty, but please ask first.

10: Absolutely no NSFW.

11: PLEASE fill out all parts of the form.

From now on you cannot reserve special roles.

suggestion: vent request thread

Lately I've seen quite a few posts just asking to vent--which leads to them getting deleted, since they'd count as off-topic. My suggestion would be a vent request thread: a user would say something on the thread like "I need to vent, preferably to one of my friends." And someone can respond by going to their message wall. This would solve the problems of vent request posts getting deleted, and even if it does still happens, since moderators are now required to say why these posts got deleted, they could easily redirect a user to this thread.

There are some cons, with it being off-topic and a bit of an easier way to access other's private vents, but I believe that those following the thread wouldn't intrude on others privacy--and maybe we can make it where only the person who the user is venting to can respond to the vent.

I love dragonslayer

I KNOW WE READ THESE BOOKS BECAUSE... DRAGONS, but I honestly loved the plot, the characters, deathbringers little cameo, everything was amazing. I think it would be still cool if it were a standalone book, seperate from wof, but i think its best as a wof book. you cant change my mind, you either love it like me or are salty because it had mostly humans, and thats stupid. it had everything a book should have, even if it wasn't the most dragon-y book of the series. feel free to fight in the replies but i never read them soooo...
