This category is for all characters who never appeared in person in any of the books at all, but are mentioned.

This category is mutually exclusive — if a character has appeared in the story at any point (including in flashbacks, visions, or dreams) they should not be added to this category. If a character is featured in a book and does not appear in any other book, they should be added to this category.
