Linden was an adult female LeafWing who was featured in A Guide to the Dragon World. She was the mother of Belladonna and the grandmother of Sundew. She was formerly Queen Sequoia's best general during the Tree Wars before breaking off and becoming the founder and leader of the PoisonWings. Before her death, she resided in the PoisonWing village.
Personality[]
Linden was brave,[1] stubborn, vengeful, confident, and fiercely loyal to Sequoia before founding the PoisonWings.[2] According to Sequoia, she was careful and a good general.[3]
Biography[]
Pre-Series[]
Linden was Sequoia's best general until the end of the Tree Wars. When the queen ordered a retreat, Belladonna's mother refused to back down and subsequently created the PoisonWings. Despite this, Linden would exchange letters with Sequoia throughout the rest of her life.
She used her leafspeak to begin making the PoisonWing Village. Her daughter, Belladonna, would hatch after Linden broke off from the SapWings and she would arrange Belladonna's marriage with Hemlock.
Linden was eventually killed by a gympie-gympie stinging tree while running a drill with a group of dragonets.

Linden was Sequoia's best general during the Tree Wars. When Sequoia wanted to go into hiding after the war, Linden believed that she was weak and broke off to form the PoisonWings.[3] Despite this, Linden remained loyal to Sequoia and still saw the SapWing as her queen.[1] After they broke off into separate groups, Linden would still communicate with Sequoia and give her updates on the other half of the tribe.[3]
