Sirocco is a male SandWing who was introduced in Darkness of Dragons. His last known whereabouts were in the Scorpion Den, and he is a member of the Talons of Power.

Description

Sirocco is hulking, large, and burly. He wears a black hood and golden medallion etched with the image of a vulture, and has three dragon skull tattoos trailing down his neck. He has a rough, gravelly voice, and either he or Rattlesnake looks a lot like Qibli. He is smaller than Rattlesnake.

Personality

Qibli once mentioned that Pyrrhia would be much better off if Sirocco was locked up where he could not hurt anyone. He is empty-headed and clumsy, and often growls at others.

The Dragonet Prophecy

The Brightest Night

Qibli described Rattlesnake and Sirocco as "a pair of dung-snorting hippo heads who'd rather stab him with their tails than share so much as a fig with him" when Sunny asked Qibli if he had any siblings.

The Jade Mountain Prophecy

Moon Rising

Moonwatcher saw Rattlesnake and Sirocco frequently in Qibli's thoughts when she was using her mind-reading abilities. She also had a vision about Qibli fighting Rattlesnake and Sirocco, with an older male dragon, Vulture, glowering at him and Qibli shouting, "Where is she?" referring to Cobra, his mother.

Winter Turning

After Winter saved Qibli, Moon, and Kinkajou by breathing frostbreath at a flaming scavenger projectile, Qibli commented that his family probably would have stabbed him with the projectile themselves rather than save him.

Escaping Peril

Two SandWings were shown buying dragonflame cacti from a SkyWing vendor. They were Sirocco and Rattlesnake collecting the cacti for Vulture.

Talons of Power

Sirocco was indirectly mentioned when Qibli said that he had siblings who liked to pick on him.

In the epilogue, a group of dragons, which had likely included Sirocco and Rattlesnake, terrified the SandWing tribe by setting off dragonflame cacti in different places throughout the Kingdom of Sand.

Darkness of Dragons

Sirocco and Rattlesnake were at their and Qibli's old home to take him and Winter to Vulture. He was shown constantly at Rattlesnake's side; the latter commented that he was a meathead who gave their family a bad name due to his clumsiness and lack of brains. He and Rattlesnake were defeated by their mother and nearly killed before Qibli convinced her to spare them. Sirocco was bound and gagged, then left behind in Vulture's compound with his unconscious sister while they escaped.
