"If you do become queen, please remember us. Whatever she does to punish us, please take care of our families."
—Snail to Tsunami while giving her the keys[1].

Snail is a female SeaWing and was one of the guards on duty when Clay had been chained to the floor in the Summer Palace. Snail strongly believed and trusted that the Dragonets of Destiny would stop the war and bring peace to Pyrrhia, which was why she decided to give the key that would unlock Clay's chains to Tsunami.

Biography Edit

The Lost HeirEdit

Along with Herring, Flounder, and Kelp, Snail was one of the SeaWings that guarded the keys to unlock the dragonets' prison at the Summer Palace. She was skeptical to hand over the key to Tsunami, fearing punishment from either Queen Coral or Shark. However, eventually, Tsunami was able to convince them that letting a Dragonet of Destiny die was a worse crime, as it would doom them to a perpetual war. Snail handed over the keys, guilty, but made Tsunami promise to have their families taken care of if they were punished. Afterwards, Tsunami told Queen Coral to put Shark in the dungeon instead of the guards. It is unknown, however, if these dragons were punished later on, although it is possible that Snail later went to the Jade Mountain Academy, and was therefore unpunished (or, if so, was not punished severely).

Moon RisingEdit

There was a student named Snail at the Jade Mountain Academy in the Copper Winglet, although she does not make much of an appearance. It is possible that she will make another appearance further on in the series. It is unknown if this Snail and the guard in The Lost Heir are the same dragon or not.

Winter TurningEdit

When Darkstalker was observing Anemone, all of the SeaWing students were in the underground lake hanging out together and playing games. One of them was most likely Snail.

Trivia Edit

  • A snail is a mollusk with a single spiral shell into which the whole body can be withdrawn into.
  • She is most likely fairly young, considering she attends Jade Mountain Academy; however, it is unknown if Snail the guard and Snail the student are two different dragons or not.
