Rose isn't dead,

Violet seeks the truth.

There's an error in the Winglets Quartet,

Her name is Fierceteeth, not Fiercetooth.

My favorite quotes

"So you will do nothing? Apathy is death. Worse than death, because at least a rotting corpse feeds the beasts and insects." - Kreia Apparition in Tomb of Ludo Kresh (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"A culture's teachings, and most importantly the nature of its people achieve definition in conflict. They find themselves or find themselves lacking." - Kreia (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"The Republic was never what was important - ever. It was but a shell that surrounds the Jedi - just as the teachings of the Jedi are a shell surrounding the heart of man. You see the war, the true war, has never been one waged by droids, or warships, or soldiers. They are but crude matter, obstacles against which we test ourselves. The true war is waged in the hearts of all living things, against our own natures, light or dark. That is what shapes and binds this galaxy, not these creations of man." - Kreia (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"Life is perpetual motion while inaction is death." - The YouTube channel with no name (Finding Humanity in Ratatouille).

“I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation. War is hell.” - William T. Sherman (Not the true original quote, but it still works.)

"Direct action is not always the best way. It is a far greater victory to make another see through your eyes than to close theirs forever." -Kreia (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"Apathy is volitional inaction through a lack of interest or concern regarding matters of importance. Apathy is the choice to do nothing when you can do something. Calling it 'humility' is coward in of itself because humility is is self-debasement and self-deprecation; it is the quality or condition of being meek and submissive. It is built on self-hatred that you cannot do anything and refuse to do anything even though you have the power to make things better." - YouTube channel with no name (The Failure of the Grey Jedi)

"Turning away from that which tempts you or causes you fear is not strength, facing it is." - Kreia (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"...but when they scream in agony, they speak the most human of languages." - Face Full of Eyes (YT Channel)

"Take care not to give in to vanity and arrogance. This breeds complacency and stagnation…" - Kreia (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"Perhaps you were expecting some surprise, for me to reveal a secret that had eluded you, something that would change your perspective of events, shatter you to your core. There is no great revelation, no great secret. There is only you." - Kreia (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities." - Voltaire

"A nation that forgets its past has no future." - Winston Churchill

"It is like a cloud, a mist that drifts from living creature to creature, set in motion by currents and eddies. It is the eye of the storm, the passions of all living things turned into energy, into a chorus. It is the rising swell at the end of life, the promise of new territories and new blood, the call of new mysteries in the dark." - Kreia explaining what it is like to feel the Force. (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"It is standing atop the summit of a great mountain, the winds tearing about you, then finding yourself buried alive - trapped, helpless, and alone. It is like having the energy of youth… then feeling the cloak of years fall upon you, and knowing you are weak, fragile, and a thing easily discarded. It is knowing what you want to say and never finding the words. It is a chorus, replaced with silence. Hearing teachings without meaning. It is liked a beloved pupil to whom you have shared everything, sacrificed everything, and then having them turn from you… and forget all you were." - Kreia explaining what the absence of the Force feels like. (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"I was at Malachor V. And I remember how many Jedi died to stop us there. And no matter how many dead orbit that planet, the Mandalorians still live. Clan Ordo still lives." - Candrerous Ordo/Mandalore the Preserver (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"Perhaps there will be no new age, Mandalore, no great Mandalorian crusade. Perhaps your people have fought their last battle at Malachor V, and you have been dying ever since, a quiet death that will last centuries. And perhaps all that remains will be what I see before me: a man, wounded by a Jedi, encased in a Mandalorian shell, haunted by the thought of being the last of the Mandalorians." - Kreia to Mandalore the Preserver about the possible future of the Mandalorians. (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"You seem to think I favor him (George Washington). But my enemy is a notion, not a nation. It is wrong to compel obedience—whether to the British Crown or the Templar Cross. And I hope in time the Loyalists will see this too, for they are also victims." - Connor to Haytham (Assassin's Creed III)

"And that is why you remain a novice in my eyes. You cannot know anything, only suspect. You must expect to be wrong, to have overlooked something. Anticipate, Altair. How many times must I remind you of this?" - Malik to Altair about Altair's arrogance. (Assassin's Creed)

"We are one. As we share the glory of our victories, so too should we share the pain of our defeat. In this way we grow closer. We grow stronger." - Malik forgiving Altair for his mistakes at Solomon's Temple. (Assassin's Creed)

"Life never ceases to teach" … "It is only when one ceases to listen that we grow still, and die." - Kreia (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"In the ninja world, those who break the rules are trash, that's true, but those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash." - Kakashi Hatake to Team 7 (Naruto)

"As my feet walk from the ashes of Katarr, I shall not fear, for in fear, lies death. And..." - Visas Marr (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"I do not love the sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I only love for what they can defend." - Elvish Chorus that plays during Boromir's death (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring)

"There is no emotion; there is peace. There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is no passion; there is serenity. There is no chaos; there is harmony. There is no death; there is the Force." - Jedi Code (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic)

"If you are to truly understand, then you will need the contrast, not adherence to a single idea." - Kreia (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"We are about to win this war. Keep beating the drum. Do not let anyone know about my death." - Admiral Yi Sun-Sin's final words to his son and nephew at the Battle of Noryang

Best exchanges/burns/comebacks

* Mandalore: "Don't pretend to understand us - we Mandalorians are a breed apart." Kreia: "If by 'apart' you mean scattered, broken, and lost, then yes - you are correct."
  • Altaïr: "What you plan is no less an illusion, to force men to follow you against your will." Al Mualim: "Is it any less real than the phantoms the Saracens and Crusaders follow now? Those… craven gods, who retreat from this world that men might slaughter one another in their names? They live amongst an illusion already. I'm simply giving them another, one that demands less blood." Altaïr: "At least they choose these phantoms." Al Mualim: "Oh do they? Aside from the occasional convert or heretic?"
  • Vrook: "You were deafened." Kreia: "At last, you could hear." Kavar: " You were broken." Kreia: "You were whole." Zez-Kai Ell: "You were blinded." Kreia: "And, at last… you saw."
  • Cesare Borgia: The throne was mine! Ezio: Wanting something does not make it your right. Cesare Borgia: What do you know? Ezio: That a true leader empowers the people he rules. Cesare Borgia: I will lead mankind into a new world! Ezio: Che nessuno ricordi il tuo nome. (May no one remember your name). Requiescat en pace (Rest in peace). Cesare Borgia: You cannot kill me. No man can murder me! Ezio: Then I leave you in the hands of Fate.

Favorite Villain Quotes

"I will remake you. So when I look upon you it shall be like a mirror. Then I shall let you die." - Darth Sion (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"You know what I shall do. You, who wear my teachings so well. I… will… *break* her." - Darth Traya (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"It is as I thought. You have failed me. Completely… and utterly. - Kreia (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power." - O'Brien (1984)

"The failure is yours! No longer do your whispers crawl within my skull. No longer do I suffer beneath teachings that weaken us." - Darth Sion to Kreia (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords

"How could you ever hope to know the threat you face, when you have never walked in the dark places of the galaxy - faced war and death on such a scale. If you had traveled far enough, rather than waiting for the echo to reach you, perhaps you would have seen it for what it was. Did you not hear its call on Dantooine, Vrook, on its scarred surface and in the minds of the settlers? I have endured your corruption of my other students - you shall not have this one. Any you, Kavar, so close to the call of Dxun, tell me. Did you not feel what poured from the moon, what had taken place there? And Zez-Kai Ell, to hide upon Nar Shaddaa, yet blind yourself to all that happens there. So close to understanding the Force… so close to giving it up." - Kreia confronting the Jedi Masters on Dantooine (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"Hehehe. We'll see how sweet they are, the fruits of your labors. You do not free the cities as you believe, but rather **** them. And in the end, you will only have yourself to blame, you, who speak of good intentions." - William de Montferrat to Altair (Assassin's Creed)

"Let no joyful voice be heard! Let no man look up at the sky with hope! And let this day be cursed by we who ready to wake… the Kraken!" - Davy Jones (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest)

"Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me." - Sith Code (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic)

"It is such a quiet thing, to fall. But far more terrible is to admit it." - Kreia to Atris (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

"No! No! No! No! This is not how it ends. Chains will not hold me! I will not die by the hand of man!" - Cesare Borgia upon his arrest (Assassin's Creed Brotherhood)

"Many of those skilled in technological warfare believe that physical training and discipline are unnecessary. With turbolasers, hyperdrives, armor plating, and the mental resources to direct them, muscular strength and agility are thought to be merely conceits. They are wrong. The mind and body are linked together in a meshwork of oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and neuron health. Physical exercise drives that meshwork, stimulating the brain and freeing one's intellect. Simulated combat has the additional virtue of training the eye to spot small errors and exploit them. A change in focus can also allow the subconscious mind to focus on unresolved questions. Simulated combat often ends with the warrior discovering that one or more of those questions have been unexpectedly solved. And occasionally, such exercise can serve other purposes." - Thrawn about the importance of exercise.

"One whose path has taken a new turn is often initially disoriented. But as time passes, and the path continues steadily in its new direction, there is a tendency to believe that it will remain so forever, with no further turns. Nothing is further from the truth. A path once bent is always susceptible to new changes. Particularly when the original change came from manipulation by an outside force." - Thrawn explaining how one's life path always changes.

"It is such a quiet thing, to fall. But far more terrible is to admit it." - Kreia to Atris about their fall to the dark side of the Force (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords)

My Questions for Tui

1. Can multiple solar eclipses occur in a day/week/month due to there being multiple moons, or do the positions of the moons make it not possible?

2. Are there any superstitions/beliefs surrounding the the three moons when they are all new moons, like a darkest night?

  • Tui's response: "Oh, interesting […] Yeah, I think probably (Might or might not have notes on a darkest night. Might appear in the WoF Guide.)

3. What happened to the previous RainWing queens after The Hidden Kingdom?

4. Do any of the kingdoms actually have constitutions?

5. What happened to Chameleon after Darkness of Dragons?

6. Why did a majority of the SandWings supported Blaze in the War of SandWing Succession?

7. In The Lost Heir, Cirrus was seen eating a bat. Since RainWings generally don't eat meat, did Chameleon thought it was weird at first to eat meat (at least in his other forms), or did his forms made meat consumption feel normal to him?

8. Do soldiers in Wings of Fire get paid for their services, like treasure? And what happens if they aren't paid? (Do they just resort to pillaging towns?)

9. Are there such things as mercenaries in Wings of Fire?

10. Why was Gharial fighting for Blaze during the War of SandWing Succession?
